Meet our newest coach, Dusaussois Guillaume!

We’re pleased to welcome our newest coach, Dusaussois Guillaume!

Guillaume is a highly versatile player with deep knowledge of all facets of Warhammer 40,000 and with a specialism in team events. He plays a variety of armies from the Imperium and Chaos, as well as Aeldari.

Guillaume dedicates most of his 40K time and structures his seasons primarily around team events. However, he firmly believes that to be a great team player, you must first be a strong individual competitor. That’s why he continues to participate in solo events, using them as opportunities to refine his skills and increase his understanding of the game.

As a coach at Vanguard Tactics, Guillaume brings his extensive team-event experience to all aspects of the format, from roster building and defining team roles to developing game plans and mastering the pairing process.

In team tournaments, success is not only about winning your match. Sometimes it’s about maximizing points in a difficult matchup, playing for the team’s overall strategy, or tailoring your list to fulfil a specific role within the roster. These additional strategic dimensions are what make team events so fascinating and rewarding for Guillaume.

Guillaume enjoys taking on challenges and is always happy to help players who are looking to improve. He approaches each coaching opportunity with dedication and detailed preparation to help his students reach their competitive goals, regardless of the army they play or the format they’re interested in.

Warhammer 40,000 is a global game, with players around the world. That’s why we have a coaching team with coaches from many nations and time zones and who speak different languages. Guillaume, who is fluent in French and English and resides in Belgium, helps us expand the accessibility of our coaching services.
