The Vanguard Tactics team took Beachhead by storm, reaching the #1 ranking in multiple categories at the Warhammer 40,000 Beachhead Brawl at Beachhead 2026.
Ross Tully won the Beachhead ITC with a 6-0 record, while Stephen Box placed second, also with a 6-0 record. With the result, Stephen ascended to the #1 overall worldwide ranking.
Multiple Vanguard Tactics team members are now the #1 ranked player in their faction. In addition to Stephen's #1 ranking for Deathwatch, Lee Page's 5-1 10th-place finish earned him the global #1 position for Death Guard, and Jordan Checkley's 4-2 26th place finish elevated him to the #1 global ranking for Blood Angels.
After their success at the Beachhead Brawl ITC Super Major, Vanguard Tactics is also the #1 ranked team in the world.
The Vanguard Tactics team was well represented at the 212-player event, with Kobe Walters also going 5-1 and finishing 17th, while Jake Harding went 3-3 and finished 69th. Nice.

Not to be outdone by her 40K-playing teammates, Vanguard Tactics studio painter Billie-Jane Rowell won 3rd place in Beachhead's Sir Coates Masters Painting Competition's Monster category and was a finalist in the Single Miniature category.
Stephen had this to say about the event:
"Beachhead was a fantastic expo and gaming competition, and being there with the team and all my friends was certainly the highlight. We always have a great event at Beachhead, and we are already looking forward to next year. To top it all off, I had six great opponents and was extremely proud to go 6-0 with a Deathwatch army that I am thoroughly enjoying playing. I am also extremely proud of the team for their continued efforts, putting sportsmanship first. Huge congratulations to Ross Tully, Vanguard Tactics coach and one of our Tau How To Play tutors, for winning the event."
Congratulations to the entire Vanguard Tactics team!
